She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Columbus State University and has worked in various fields, including med-surg oncology, postpartum, and mother-baby care. With three years of experience as a traveling nurse, she now serves as a triage nurse in women’s health services, assisting patients with gynecological and obstetric concerns.

Daphne IveyDaphne Ivey knew in high school that she wanted to be a nurse. She began her career as a nursing assistant, became an LPN, and later earned her RN degree while working full time. Over the past 40 years, Daphne has cared for patients in postpartum, med-surg, and OB-GYN settings, teaching breastfeeding classes and championing women’s health. Today, she is the Nurse Supervisor at Wellstar, where she is committed to patient safety, teaching, and helping others navigate their healthcare journeys while guiding her team.

Joseph S. Levine, Ph.D.Joseph S. Levine, Ph.D., is a renowned biologist and educator with a Ph.D. from Harvard University and the Marine Biological Laboratory in Woods Hole. He has taught at Boston College, Boston University, and internationally, including serving as "Outstanding Educator in Residence" for Singapore's Ministry of Education. Dr. Levine has contributed as a science correspondent for NPR, a scientific advisor to NOVA, and a designer of exhibits for state aquariums. A Fellow of AAAS, he leads professional development workshops worldwide and resides in Concord, Massachusetts, near Thoreau’s Walden Pond.
