We recently got a chance to talk with Dr. Randy Charles, one of the leading voices in mathematics education and highly acclaimed author of enVision Mathematics. Dr. Charles shared some practical ways educators can address unfinished learning due to COVID-19 school closures.

Dr. Randall Charles is Professor Emeritus in the Department of Mathematics at San Jose State University California. He has authored or coauthored more than 100 mathematics textbooks for the elementary, middle school, secondary, and collegiate levels. Dr. Charles served as the lead author for enVisionMATH Common Core, and enVisionMATH Common Core, Realize Edition. He is currently an author of enVision Mathematics.
